About the Life-Like Materials Lab

We are active within the Department of Physical-Organic Chemistry and work closely together with the groups of prof. Wilhelm Huck, dr. Evan Spruijt, dr. Willem Velema, dr. Mathijs Mabesoone and dr. William Robinson.

Additionally, Peter Korevaar is involved in the Big Chemistry consortium, aimed at establishing a Robotlab facility for high-throughput experimentation integrated with AI-based analysis for technology development and industrial application of formulation-based strategies.

The Life-like Materials group is part of the Institute for Molecules and Materials (IMM), and is supported by the Research Center for Functional Molecular Systems as well as the Netherlands Science Organisation (NWO).

Our labs and offices are located in the Huygens building
